My focus: outdoor sports & mountains, wildlife & nature, overlanding, vanlife & camping, family travel and solo female travel – brought to life through features, talks and workshops.
As a freelance travel writer, tour guide and adventurer, I spend several months of the year on the road, exploring the world and telling the stories I find along the way.
I’ve climbed peaks of nearly 7,000 metres in the Andes, the Himalayas and the Alps – on foot and on skis – and travelled extensively throughout Africa, exploring 30 countries overland and spending several years on the continent in total. More recently, my old Toyota Land Cruiser has taken me on an epic overland journey across South and Central America.
As a single mum, I now share many of my adventures with my young son, my favourite travel companion.
My stories and photography have been published in a wide range of German and international magazines and newspapers, both in print and online. I have also contributed to and authored more than fifteen travel books, with a particular focus on Morocco.
